Description
NIHONWELD NC-50 is a premium iron-nickel alloy welding electrode specially developed for producing high-strength joints on cast iron materials. It is widely used for the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of various cast iron components, as well as for joining cast iron to steel.
This electrode is particularly suitable for welding nodular graphite and spheroidal graphite (SG) cast irons. The weld deposit offers excellent strength, crack resistance, and full machinability, making post-weld machining easier and more efficient.
NC-50 features soft and smooth arc characteristics that provide excellent weld control and produce even weld beads with clean contours. The electrode is also specially formulated to reduce overheating during welding, ensuring stable performance and reliable weld quality in demanding industrial applications.
