Description
NIHONWELD N-8018-G is a high-performance iron powder low hydrogen welding electrode developed for welding high-strength steels in demanding structural and industrial applications. Designed for direct current welding in all positions except vertical down, it provides excellent usability, stable arc characteristics, and dependable weld quality.
The electrode produces weld metal with excellent crack resistance and X-ray soundness, making it suitable for critical fabrication and heavy-duty industrial welding operations. It is especially effective for multi-layer fillet welding with large leg lengths, offering reliable weld penetration and smooth bead appearance.
