Description
NIHONWELD N-7016 is a high-performance low hydrogen welding electrode developed for welding carbon steel and high tensile steel applications requiring strong mechanical properties and reliable weld integrity. Designed for all-position welding except vertical down, it delivers excellent crack resistance, stable arc characteristics, and X-ray sound weld deposits.
The electrode provides smooth welding performance with minimal spatter generation and easy slag removal, helping improve welding efficiency and weld appearance. Its specially formulated arc starter flux on the electrode tip allows easy initial arc ignition, even during AC welding applications.
NIHONWELD N-7016 offers excellent toughness and dependable mechanical performance, making it suitable for structural fabrication, shipbuilding, industrial maintenance, repair work, and heavy-duty welding operations where reliable weld quality is essential.
