Description
NIHONWELD NC-25 is a graphite-type iron-based welding electrode specially formulated for welding and repairing contaminated, greasy, oil-soaked, and dirty cast iron components where post-weld machining is not required.
This electrode provides excellent fusibility with cast iron and produces dense, strong, and crack-resistant weld deposits. Due to its high carbon weld metal composition, the deposited weld exhibits high hardness properties in the range of approximately 52–55 HRC, making it highly suitable for repair applications requiring wear resistance and durability.
NC-25 is ideal for maintenance and repair operations involving difficult cast iron parts exposed to oil, grease, or contamination where conventional electrodes may struggle to perform effectively.
