Description
NSS-309L is a premium low-carbon stainless steel electrode engineered for welding dissimilar metals, heat-resistant steels, and clad steel layers. Its lime-titania coating provides a smooth, stable arc, excellent puddle control, and spatter-free operation—making it ideal for both workshop and field welding.
The weld metal composition of 25% Chromium and 12% Nickel delivers strong resistance against oxidation, heat, and intergranular corrosion. Thanks to the low carbon content, NSS-309L offers enhanced corrosion resistance compared to ordinary 309 electrodes, especially in critical stainless applications.
With its versatile all-position usability and CE approval, NSS-309L is widely used in chemical plants, furnace components, and stainless-steel repair work.
